My mind is not as clear as I would like for it to be. I don't have a high level of awareness of what I need to be working on right now and that gives me a vague feeling of anxiety.
But I feel like the tradeoff that I am bargaining for is to take the anxiety rather than experiencing the overwhelm of actually facing the mountain of things to do.
There is something great and powerful about just doing one thing at a time. Surrendering to the reality that is all that you can really do anyway. And not being drawn in all the directions that you could potentially be drawn in.
For all practical purposes, the mountain doesn't exist. There is only this step.
